I have the great pleasure of participating in the upcoming MaMa Performance Art International Festival in Madremanya (Girona), from September 12th to 14th, 2025, organized by Gresol. I am especially excited because I will be working again with my dear Ana Matey a few days beforehand to create a site-specific performance. In addition, we will present the report “Infinite Communication”, which covers the first ten years of our EXCHANGE Live Art project, and we will hold an EXCHANGE workshop in which we share our research on communication and shared creative processes.
MaMa has evolved into a sustainable, place-based cultural initiative rooted in dialogue and participation. Over three days, MaMa IV will activate public and private spaces across the village with a curated program of performances, workshops, screenings, and musical interventions. The festival emphasises collaborative, interdisciplinary practices, inviting national and international artists to engage in co-creation with the local community. In doing so, MaMa IV seeks to destabilises traditional hierarchies between artist and audience, expert and amateur and to foster new modes of collective authorship and shared cultural agency.
