Action created with the artist Ana Matey as part of my project “To and Fro and the Iterated Prisioner’s Dilema.
This performance is based on the 20 video actions made with each person in the years 2020 and 2022.
Action realized on December 22nd, 2022 in Granada (Spain). Duration: 57 minutes.
Reduced version made at the opening of the exhibition at the Sala El Brocense in Cáceres, on March 21, 2024.
The title of this piece alludes to the total kilos of clay that add up to the five pellets used in the action.
This piece represents the challenge of synthesizing in a single action all the video actions on which it is based, being present subtly and conceptually. To do this, we use a single element -mud- with which we perform actions that allude to concepts such as “unite”, “communicate”, “sustain”, “connect”, “transform”, etc.
