FURROW BODY

Action carried out for the Partides Festival held in Cambrils (Catalonia), in September 2024.

“Furrow Body” is a performance where the agricultural land becomes the matter that surrounds a body that seeks to honor it and celebrate its fertility. Through this action, the contradiction of modernity is highlighted: while we connect with the richness of the earth and seek connection with it, we also face the desolate reality of the use of plastics in agriculture, which pollutes and suffocates what should be sacred.

My body blends with the earth and the food that comes from it. Vegetables that are born from my body. A body that is born from the Earth. Earth, body, and vegetables go through a plastic that suffocates.
