Performance with Amelia David. Final sample of the laboratory “Action Arts vs. Performing Arts”, within the project EXCHANGE Live Art. Thursday, April 23th at La Nave del Duende, Cáceres (Spain).
For this action we part from a classic theatrical text: “Hamlet” by William Shakespeare, and chose a fragment from the Scene II (Act II) in which Ophelia tells his brother an encounter with Hamlet; this fragment is an accurate description of a series of “actions” by Hamlet that Ophelia thoroughly described.
The action is performed simultaneously, each one in her own language (Isabel as a “performance” and Amelia as a “actor training”).
