The Sowing is another version of the performance “Hatillo” (HERE),
in which I use a piece of transparent plastic as a main element, underneath which I perform part of the action.
Under my clothes I have many balls of socks, scattered around my body. I take them out of my clothes one by one and throw them on top of the plastic. I put on all of the socks, some on top of the others, slowly deforming my feet.
I place my body under the plastic and take off the socks, pushing them against the plastic until a small hole is opened which I push part of the sock through.
Finally I emerge from under the plastic through another hole.
