“Green Beans” follows the line of formal investigation initiated with the actions “Hatillo” (HERE), and “The Swoing” (HERE), in which I use plastic as the main element under which I perform most part of the action.
In this work, I replace the transparent plastic with one of totally opaque black color, on which I spread fresh green beans. I get under the plastic, and little by little, I take out different parts of the body (hands, feet, legs …) and I try to split some green beans.
Finally I take out my head, arms and legs and break all the plastic until I get completely out.
