1ª Soriee Tok Tok art d’acció at the Fustería! Anti-woodworm performances. Valencia, May 2010.
This performance is a continuation of previous performances, “Timeless Self-portrait” and “Mirage”, since it also uses the mirror as the basis of the work.
The structure of this performance is similar to the others: I look at myself in a mirror until a feeling arises from this observation. I write this feeling on my body using an eye pencil. In this iteration of the performance there are two differences: instead of looking at only myself in the mirror, I include someone else in the reflection and we look at ourselves together in the reflection; and I give this person an eye pencil so they can also write on my body whatever he/she likes. Sometimes they write or draw directly on the mirror.
