Performance developed within the performance art working group Caterva, in which we investigated the concepts of memory associated with food. Granada, 2012.
I unwrap several chicken drumsticks from their packaging and remove their skins one by one. I keep the skins and put the meat aside. From a cloth bag, I take out a “Nenuco” doll (similar to one I had when I was a child) and I sew a suit for her out of the chicken skins.
I sew the chicken skins around the body of the doll until I finish her “costume”.
