13 Seagull Feathers

Collaboration within the meeting of performance “13 Feathers” organized by Ana Matey in the activities organized on the occasion of her exhibition “The Feather Collector”.

I received an invitation letter to do a thirteen-minute performance on April 19th in Space b (Madrid), at a specific time. Twelve other artists were invited to the same event, each making a performance at a specific time. Along with this letter, I received a package containing 13 seagull feathers.
In the performance, I open the package and place the feathers next to each other. Using tape, I stick them on my forehead, as if they were a mask. Then I take the feathers one by one and tape them to the wall in the shape of an arch. I wrote on a piece of paper the words PHOTO CALL and tape it next to the feathers. I stand under the arch so that the audience can take a picture of me. In invite others to pose for their own photo call in the same spot.
